Last Tuesday, at about 11.30 am, a man knocked at Julie's front door asking for the directions to Seaford train station. She gave him the information and the man left.

A few minutes, she saw him knocking on her neighbour's door. She became suspicious because he could also ask people in the street. Then she rang the police and reported it.

Not long after, Julie saw the man carrying a bag which he did not have before. She was very determined hot to lose the man so she followed him in her car to the station. The man was on foot and Julie lost him.

Julie panicked but a few minutes later, she saw him on the platform. The man was on the train but Julie tried to stop the train by putting her foot in the door.

At the same time Julie saw the policemen and called them out. They caught the thief and found CDs and jewellery in his bag.

Later the police thanked Julie for her assistance but they warned her against the dangerous action.
